Our Process
01. Exploration Call
Once you inquire, we’ll reach out within 48 hours to schedule an Exploration Call. This is where we start getting to know you—your story, your vision, and what matters most to you on your wedding day. We’ll also walk you through how we approach filmmaking as a creative husband-and-wife team.
02. Tailored Proposal
After we’ve had a chance to connect, we’ll put together a custom proposal that reflects your hopes, needs, and the rhythm of your day. Our goal is to serve you with guidance and care, helping you feel supported every step of the way.
03. Contract
Once you’ve looked over your proposal and feel ready to move forward, we’ll send over your official contract. When it’s signed, your date is officially on our calendar—and you’re part of the Nelson’s family.
04. Preparation & Story Exploration
As your day approaches, we’ll walk through the deeper details that help us serve you well.
05. Wedding Weekend
This is your moment to be fully present. We’ll be right beside you, with eyes and hearts open, documenting not just how your day looked—but how it felt.
06. Crafting and Delivering Your Photos and/or Film
After the wedding, we begin the process of bringing your story to life. Depending on the type of wedding film you've booked your wedding film should be delivered within 8-14 weeks.
Investment
More than just coverage - capturing your story
Couples typically invest a minimum of $4,500 to $7500 -- yes, it's a wide range! That’s because every couple, and every vision for a wedding day, is completely unique.
Over the years, we’ve found that inviting couples into the process and allowing space for flexibility leads to wedding films that feel more personal and authentic. Because of this, it’s hard to give a set price right away.
